R.E.C.T.U.M. was founded in the early 1960's just as the space race was getting underway by a group of visionaries who knew that one day soon everyone would want to own a piece of Uranus.  As legal claims to the various planets were being registered with the governments of the world R.E.C.T.U.M. was the only organization to think of registering the cold, gassy body of Uranus.  R.E.C.T.U.M. also registered a claim to all the moons of Uranus because what would Uranus be worth without a good moon?

Every piece of Uranus that is bought is registered in the great tome of R.E.C.T.U.M. with the following entry.

"This, the '#th' day of 'MONTH' in the Earth year YEAR', 'OWNER'S NAME', has registered a claim upon the piece of Uranus located at 'COORDINATES' and has received the legal title to prove ownership.  The name of the township located at the above coordinates is 'YOUR TOWN NAME'"

The great tome of R.E.C.T.U.M. is kept under armed guard 24 hours a day at the global headquarters in Central Florida.

As the movement towards owning a piece of Uranus grows (and believe us, IT IS ALREADY GROWING FAST!) we will, under the direct supervision of R.E.C.T.U.M. be implementing an online database of proud owners of Uranus.  Eventually there will be a dynamically updated pictorial map of Uranus that you will be able to click on and see the names of owners in that area along with their coordinates and homestead names.

Of course, your name won't be used on this database if you don't check that box on the order form but you will be listed as an anonymous owner.
